The NWU-Puk completed a convincing 10- wicket victory against NWU Taurus in this weekend’s North West Premier League action at the Puk-Oval.
The stars for the NWU were the bowlers, Thlompho Modimokoane (3/18) and Jesse-James Albanie (3/15) who made light work of the Taurus batting line-up. The former Gimmies’ captain, Vernon Charslund also picked up 3/9 with his leg spin.

Henro Janse van Rensburg completed the rout with a stunning 70 (46), which included ten fours and three sixes. He and Lesego Senokwane (23 off 28) secured the comfortable win with Senokwane letting Janse van Rensburg make the most of his time in the middle.
