Potchefstroom Boys’ High’s hockey boys recently took on some of the top schools north of the Vaal River in the 2019 Noordvaal Hockey tournament.

The u.14 team ended in a respectable seventh place out of 12 schools in their game in Nelspruit. Boys High defeated Rustenburg 3–1 and also beat Hoërskool Noordheuwel 2–1. However, they lost 6–0 to Menlopark, 6–0 against HTS Witbank and 4–1 against Garsfontein – all top hockey schools. One of the standout players of the tournament was young Jaydon Noble, who impressed and thrilled in the goal. Jaydon was named the goalkeeper of the tournament.
