JB Marks ready and eager to host u.19 Cricket World Cup

The official trophy was unveiled to members of the municipality in the Executive Mayor’s office yesterday

The JB Marks Local Municipality is looking forward to hosting the majority of the matches during the upcoming ICC u.19 Cricket World Cup taking place in Potchefstroom. The official trophy was unveiled to members of the municipality in the Executive Mayor’s office yesterday (14 January). Officials from Cricket South Africa and North West Cricket were welcomed by Acting Mayor Leon Mkhabela during a short visit where photos could be taken with the prestigious trophy.

The tournament starts on 17 January and will be concluded with the final at JB Marks Oval (Senwes Park) on 9 February.

16 teams from across the globe will take part in the tournament.
