The CSA T20 Challenge will see some of the country’s finest cricketers battle it out from 19-28 February. There are a number of former or current NW Dragons players who will be involved in this year competition.
The Lions feature 6 players the likes of Dwaine Pretorius, Bjorn Fortuin, Malusi Siboto, Rassie van der Dussen, Eldred Hawken and newcomer, Ruan Haasbroek. This is most definitely the most loaded team filled with NW players due to its closed association with North West Cricket.
Further up north, the Titans feature Chris Morris as the only former NW Dragons and former Proteas player. Down south, The Warriors boast the talents of all-rounder, Wihan Lubbe and Marco Jansen.
The Cape Cobras feature the talented opener, Janneman Malan, fresh from a Proteas stint in Pakistan, as well as the big hitting Christiaan Jonker.
In central South Africa, the Knights feature Grant Mokoena and Migael Pretorius in their lineup. The Dolphins are the only team with no former NW Dragons in the squad.
