Injuries in NW Dragons camp gives an opportunity for youngsters

Heinrigh Pieterse (left handed batsman), Tahir Isaacs, Caleb Seleka (all-rounder) and Chris Britz (batsman) are the new additions.

A couple of young guns in the North West Dragons academy setup will get their chance to showcase their talents this coming weekend in the CSA T20 Provincial Knockout tournament in Bloemfontein from 8-10 October.

Heinrigh Pieterse (left handed batsman), Tahir Isaacs, Caleb Seleka (all-rounder) and Chris Britz (batsman) are the new additions.

This is due to the fact that regular starters, Heino Kuhn, Ndumiso Mvelase, Delano Potgieter and Nono Pongolo are all injured. This leaves a hole for these youngsters to fill but also presents an opportunity for new talent to emerge.

The Dragons though are still a solid unit and will be one of the favourites to progress in Pool C.

Squad: Nicky van den Bergh (captain), Wesley Marshall, Caleb Seleka, Tahir Isaacs, Shaylen Pillay, Senuran Muthusamy, Lwandiswa Zuma, Lesego Senokwane, Heinrigh Pieterse, Johannes Diseko, Jason Oakes, Eldred Hawken, Eben Botha, Duan Jansen, Chris Britz, Chad Classen.
