Potch Dorp 1 lost at home by 9 wickets against Ibbies after the former were bowled out for only 48. Herman Neveling with (4/18) and Stefan Maree with 3/4 were the top bowlers for Ibbies. Potch Dorp 2 also lost to Taurus by 5 wickets in a low scoring encounter.

Potch Dorp 2 could also compile 102 all out with Lohard Jansen van Rensburg (47 off 69) ad Niel Jansen van Vuuren (22 off 31) top scoring. Wehan van Rooyen with an immaculate 6/31 was the top star with the ball for Taurus. Young Ruan Lotz, still at school at Gimmies, bowled beautifully with a 5/32 for Potch Dorp 2.

Taurus though had too much firepower with Carlo Erasmus’ 39 taking them to victory. Colts beat Mafikeng by 73 runs whilst Travelling Reefs also recorded a 6-wicket victory against Ramblers.
