Bert’s Bricks Run hits all the right notes

The 2022 Bert’s Bricks Great Brick Run was another impressive edition of this ever-popular race with runners of all age groups taking on the five-, 10- and 21-km distances from the start at the Snowflake Building.

The 2022 Bert’s Bricks Great Brick Run was another impressive edition of this ever-popular race with runners of all age groups taking on the five-, 10- and 21-km distances from the start at the Snowflake Building. The event, which was a resounding success, saw 638 athletes competing.

Women’s 10 km:

3. Cheri-lee Oosthuizen (Bert’s Bricks Athletics Club) – 47:32.4.

Men’s 10 km:

1. Obed Mathebono (295 Running Club) – 33:50.0

2. Tolo Mooketsi (Klerksdorp Marathon Club) – 35:17.0

3. Geoffrey Abrams (Klerksdorp Marathon Club) – 35:44.0.

Women’s: 21 km

1. Adele Broodryk (Murray & Roberts) – 1:18:20.6

2. Jackie Maritz (Klerksdorp Marathon Club) – 1:30:42.1

3. Minette Bell (Potch Track Club) – 1:33:19.2.

Men’s: 21 km
