Jang scored two goals from penalty corners, one to open the scoring and a second to seal the win. The goal of the day belonged to Kim Sung Hyun who chipped the Japanese keeper, Takashi Yoshikawa with a superb piece of individual brilliance.
Japan’s Niwa Takuma scored his side’s only goal of the game. Japan showed a lot of energy in the match, but just could not take their chances.
Korea will be one of the favourites for a final spot based on their performances thus far.
