A top of the table clash in the CSA One Day Challenge is in store this Friday, 9 December when the North West Dragons and Western Province battle it out at Newlands.
Western Province are currently above the Dragons on net run rate on the log after their convincing 177 run win against the Knights on Wednesday.
Province left-hander, Tony se Zorzi has been in imperious form with the bat. A triple century in 4-day competition and a 130 against the Knights in the limited over format is a display of his talent.
The NW Dragons will also need to keep an eye on Gavin Kaplan, Daniel Smith and Jonathan Bird at the top of the order.
Western Province will also back Wayne Parnell and Nandré Burger to do the damage with the ball in hand.
The Dragons picked up two wins at home to start off the competition and will want to record a hat-trick of wins at Newlands.
Opener, Lesego Senokwane has been instrumental scoring two back-to-back half centuries.
Heino Kuhn, Senuran Muthusamy and Delano Potgieter has also shown form with the bat. Potgieter was also potent with the ball in hand for the Dragons and is a reliable wicket-taker.
Opening pacers, Kerwin Mungroo and Eldred Hawken will once again play a key part if the Dragons are to get a victory in Cape Town tomorrow.
Due to stage 6 load shedding concerns, the match has been shifted from the original starting time of 13:00 to 10:00.
