Saints Christian School coaches, Ché Williams and Claudio Lucas, are currently working with the English Premier League (EPL) Football club, AFC Bournemouth in Bournemouth, England.
These two local coaches got the opportunity to travel to Bournemouth, after they hosted the EPL side in Potchefstroom for training and skills development courses with the Community Sports Trust at Saints last year.

Williams and Lucas have had a couple of training sessions at the Ringwood Community Hub 3G pitch, the place where the Bournemouth First Team Women’s side train.
This world class training facility was opened just last month. This is a fantastic opportunity for Saints head coaches to learn from the best.
Claudio Lucas, Saints Sports Coördinator, is working hand-in-hand with the coaches from AFC Bournemouth as well as Dave Steddon and Kevin Jones from Brockenhurst College. Because of this, Saints are able to create opportunities for their players, teachers and coaches to learn from some of the best institutions in the world.
“We are excited about these relationships that we are building with world-class institutions and the opportunities it creates for our Saints Christian School family. We believe in always striving to be the best you can be and learning from the very best countries from around the world. We are creating something special at Saints Christian School, as we continue to partner with these elite programs and institutions, to give our children the most advanced coaching possible and be the best on the sports field,” stated Lucas.
Apart from the coaching experience, they also had the chance to watch a live English Premier League match this past weekend when AFC Bournemouth took on Fulham. Bournemouth won the match 2-1.
