All Out War brings the best out of Potch RCFA clubs

Elite Potchefstroom took fourth place in the top 10 clubs who competed.

Two local clubs, Elite and Ice-Team showed their skills against national competitions at the Ring Contact Fighting Arts (RCFA) All Out War event that took place at the Elgro Hotel on Saturday, 15 April.

This event hosted by North West sees clubs across the country compete for national titles in various divisions and age groups .Sensei Mark Ekron and Sensei Verischke Lubbe of Elite RCFA can be proud of how they performed in the championships. Elite Potchefstroom took fourth place in the top 10 clubs who competed.

Elite took 10 gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze medals. Pretoria Katanas were crowned as the champions with 14 gold, 13 silver and 4 bronze medals. Jodi Wessels of Elite took three gold medals and ended fifth in the top 10 individual rankings. Shihan Etienne van Eeden of IceTeam Potchefstroom can also be proud of his charges for racking up numerous medals. The next major event will be the Ring Contact Fighting Art: Jungle War that will take place on Saturday, 27 May 2023 at Emerald Casino in Vanderbijlpark.

  • Seth Lubbe: 1 silver
  • Audrey Riley: 1 silver

  • Etienne van Eeden: 1 gold, 1 silver
  • Tian van der Mescht: 1 gold, 1 silver
  • Melan van der Mescht: 1 silver
  • Eben van Eeden: 1 silver, 2 bronze
  • Waldo Venter: 1 bronze.
