Local MMA fighter, Micky Cloete (Coalition Grappling Academy), is ready to make it two EFC wins in a row when he takes on Mphumelelo Mngoma at EFC 103 on Thursday, 11 May.

Cloete will be heading into this flyweight bout on the preliminary card today with a lot of confidence after defeating Tyral Louw at EFC 101 on 2 March. Cloete bested Louw in the first round at 3:24 with a rear naked choke submission victory.

“Preparation for this upcoming fight has gone well. I feel very confident and I believe that I can get the win. I am in top shape and ready to fight,” stated Cloete yesterday.

Cloete trains under fellow Potchefstroomer and EFC fighter, Roevan de Beer.

Interestingly, both Cloete and Mngoma have identical win-loss records in EFC with 1 loss and 1 win to their names.

Potchefstroomers will definitely want to see Cloete making it two out of three and build his reputation in the flyweight sphere.

The preliminary card matches start at 15:00. The main events start at 19:00.
