THS and Boys High Ready for Clash

THS and Boys High face off in a fiery FNB Classic Clash in which both teams are eager to claim victory.

A second FNB Classic Clash will be played in Potchefstroom in as many weeks. On 31 May, Technical High School Potchefstroom (THS) will host Potch Boys High.

This clash has gained prominence in the last few years creating an atmosphere of expectation. College are the defending champions after beating THS last year by a staggering 56-5.
According to THS captain Denwil Kordom, although they lost in 2024, they are fortunate to have the pressure to bring it back to THS this year.

The THS 1st XV have been doing well so far in the league, but for the clash they have been preparing as if they have lost every game so far.

“We are staying humble but will come with fire. Good luck to Boys High, we hope they are ready for us because we are ready for them,” said Kordom

Leanders Delwin, 1st XV captain of College said that although the team has had a few setbacks, their mindset has changed.
“The gentleman are ready to defend our title. It doesn’t matter where we play, we always play the same,” said Delwin.
