Oupa Kgoadi, Team Manager described Baroka’s loss as a minor setback and an eye opener.
“It was a tough game. They scored in the last minutes of the match and we did not have enough time to come back. I mean if you look at the history of our club we have never beaten FC Cape Town since we turned professional. That is something that we are looking at and we believe we can do better against them when we meet again,” Kgoadi said.
He also mentioned they were hoping for the return of team and division top goal scorer Thabiso Kutumela who missed the match against FC Cape Town All Stars because of a groin injury.
“He was injured against Black Leopards. He started training on Monday we are hoping that he will be fit for the game against Cape Town All Stars in Athlone Stadium on Saturday,” Kgoadi said.
