Polokwane City square up with Orlando Pirates
The Orlando Pirates striker, Tendai Ndoro earned his team a point after scoring an equaliser in stoppage time during the ABSA Premiership match against Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Sport Complex yesterday (Sunday).

POLOKWANE – Rise and Shine defenders left Ndoro unmarked which gave him an opportunity to head the ball into the goal posts to secure a point for the visitors in the dying minutes of the match.
The match between the two rivals started slow due to the heat but Rise and Shine later gained momentum. The Limpopo outfit dominated for the most part but neither team found the back of the net in the first half.
Puleng Tlolane scored a stunning goal in the first seven minutes of the second half to hand Polokwane City the lead. Tlolane was given enough time and space by Pirates’ defenders to curl the ball into the top corner of the net. The goal gave City players a boost which saw them attacking the visitors with viogour.
Polokwane City created a number of chances but could not convert them into goals. City could have scored three goals, at least, but it seemed like lady luck was not on their side. They teams ended the intense match with a point each.
