Molemole Academy was granted the opportunity to play against the national soccer team by the South African Football Association (Safa) Capricorn region.

POLOKWANE – The national soccer team, Bafana Bafana played a friendly match against Molemole Academy ahead of the 2018 Fifa World Cup Russia qualifier match against Senegal at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex this Saturday.
Molemole, which is now leading the ABC Motsepe Limpopo league, was granted the opportunity to play against the national soccer team by the South African Football Association (Safa) Capricorn region.
Molemole players seemed frightened as they were seen losing a lot of ball in the first half of the game giving Bafana enough room to convert four goals.

A few action shots from the friendly game:

The boys gained momentum in the dying minutes of the first half and earned a penalty.
Molatelo Moholwa proved that he could lead the team when he faced Bafana goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune.
He took his time before directing the ball into the goal posts making the half-time score 4-1.
Khune tried his tricks to scare Moholwa but the youngster sent Khune in the opposite direction.
The two teams introduced fresh legs to the game in the second half to try a variety of combinations.
Molemole players seemed to join the party as soon as Katlego ‘Shoes’ Magolo was placed in the middle of the park.
Shoes had full control of most of the ball and supplied his wingers to make dangerous crosses.
The youngster has played for teams in various local leagues and his football experience boosted the team. He gave Mpho Makola a tough game in the middle.
Bafana went on to create dangerous chances and managed to score two more goals making the final score 6-1.
According to Molemole Academy Chairperson, Thomas Mulaudzi, it was an honour for them to play against the national team.
“Our boys proved they deserve to lead the ABC Motsepe league.
Willy Moloto, Molemole Academy coach thanked Safa Capricorn Region for the opportunity.
