Record melts under their soles
Pietersburg Road Runners (PRR) returned from Nelspruit with a new record achieved during the Kaapsehoop 3-in-1 Race which took place on Saturday and was hosted by the Nelspruit Marathon Club.
POLOKWANE – Lutendo Mapoto managed to set a new record for the 42,2 km Kaapsehoop with his time of 2:18:55 hours.
The results for the club during the 3-in-1 race:
• 10 km race:
Emmanuel Ramohiale finished in fourth place with a time of 32:28 minutes.
Rozanne Koen finished the race with a time of 1:25:13 hours.
• 21 km race:
Amri van Aarde finished the race with a time of 1:52:46 hours.
Marbello van Tonder with a time of 2:04:40 hours.
Shane Maytham with a time of 2:14:32 hours.
Jacqoline Potgieter with a time of 2:18:20 hours.
Helga Moreira with a time of 2:19:24 hours.
Nella de Bryun with a time of 2:30:58 hours.
Antonette Mynhardt with a time of 2:37:11 hours.
Delene Cronje with a time of 2:37:16 hours.
• 42,2 km race:
Lutendo Mapoto finished in first place with a time of 2:18:55 hours.

Phuti Mohale with a time of 3:28:21 hours.
Mary Kok with a time of 4:01:55 hours.
