Polokwane Mayor to host annual Mayoral Charity Golf Day
Mayor, Thembi Nkadimeng, invites the community to enjoy a day of golf for a good cause.
POLOKWANE – The seventh annual Mayoral Charity Golf Day will take place on Friday, 25 November, and promises to be a great day filled with social golfing and amazing prizes to be won. Approximately 160 golfers participate in this event annually.
The municipality is hosting this event at the Polokwane Golf Club with the aim to raise funds for charitable organisations in and around the city.
In 2015 a whopping total of R2 million was raised and the aim is to raise even more this year.
Approximately 150 organisations will benefit from the fundraiser, which include underprivilege students studying at tertiary institutions.
The first tee-off time will be at 07:00 and, if you would like to take part, you can book your team at the golf club.
