Panorama athletes shine at inter-school challenge
Young ones showed determination on the track and field.
Panorama Primary School learners competed in the Inter-school Competition hosted by Laerskool Horison at Ruimsig Stadium.
According to Panorama deputy principal Lenandi Pulella, this initiative is important in the lives of learners and extends far beyond physical fitness.
“It is a fundamental pillar of holistic education, contributing to cognitive, social, emotional, and character development,” she said.

Panorama learners competed in all categories, which included shot put, long jump, high jump, javelin, hurdles, running and walking. Sibanye Uyinmwen received first place in the U12 100m with a time of 13.10 seconds.
“Sport is not an optional extra in education; it is a vital component of a complete learning environment. We are shaping healthy, disciplined, resilient and socially adept individuals for the future,” said Lenandi.
