ArcelorMittal: R50 000 reward for information regarding Peet’s murder

VANDERBIJLPARK. – On March 17, 2021 an ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd employee, Mr Peet Snyders, was killed in a shooting incident outside the Vanderbijlpark Works.

The South African Police Services (SAPS) has been investigating the circumstances around this incident. ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd is offering a reward of up to R50 000 to anyone who provides information that results in the arrest and successful conviction of the perpetrators responsible for this tragedy.

Anyone with information that can result in the arrest and successful conviction of those involved, may contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Maloma of the SAPS, on 072 219 3540 with such information.

In order to be considered for the reward you will need to leave your details with Sergeant Maloma. You will be contacted once the reward is due and payable after a successful conviction, and ONLY once it is confirmed that such information resulted in the ARREST and successful CONVICTION of those involved.

All information received will be treated with the appropriate discretion and confidentiality to ensure the protection of witnesses and whistleblowers.
