Athletics Day for local creches

There was entertainment galore for young and old.

VANDERBIJLPARK.- It was a fun-filled Athletics Day for various local creches at Oliver Lodge Primary School on Saturday.

The annual event, organised by Little Stars Crèche, focused on encouraging children to get involved in sports from an early age. The day featured a range of colourful entertainment alongside the main races. Three local crèches, Lovely Buddies on Mission, Creative Minds, and Little Stars, competed against one another in various activities.

It was a fun filled day when local creches take part in the Athletics Day.

Many parents attended to cheer on their children, and there were many proud moments as the youngsters showcased their running talents. While some children showed great potential for the future, the day also had its share of typical toddler moments.

There was also entertainment galore to welcome guests and parents.

Some children were left feeling a bit confused at the starting line, while others shed a few tears once their races ended.

Despite the occasional tears, the day was a great success.

There was also entertainment galore to welcome guests and parents.

Organisers hope that with continued encouragement from their parents, many of these young participants will grow into talented athletes. The team from Sedibeng Ster Sport was also there to capture all the action from the day.
