Tail-wagging thanks from 4 Paws
We are still looking for land to lease for our own rescue centre, so keep your ears and eyes open.

EDITOR – What a time we are having at 4 Paws and a Tale.
After hosting a successful sterilisation campaign in May, where we sterilised 307 dogs, and after breathing a sigh of relief for at least a while, we are once again run off our feet with puppies streaming in and abuse becoming even more prevalent.
To all my foster moms who give freely of not only their time but open their homes ‘and gardens’ to scared and abused dogs, a big thank you. Without you I will never be able to do this. You guys are the wheels on which 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue run. You make it possible for me to do what I do and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To our supporters who regularly bring in goodies to sell at our charity shop, you are the most amazing people I have ever met. You give your precious belongings to help those animals in need without thought of getting anything back from us. You dig out priceless valuables and give freely. Thank you. Your selfless gestures pay our bills and make it possible for us to rescue, spay, neuter and re-home animals. To all those people who donate food and money, some of you leave your names so we can thank you and some just give without thought of a thank you. My heart leaps every time a donation comes in and tears fill my eyes as I cannot ever repay you. Thank you.
To Gloria and the women who all tirelessly work at the shop, making the most beautiful things, and who help serve customers, words are not enough to thank you. To Jacqueline and Lorraine, what would I do without you. You keep the wheels turning so that I never have to worry about where the money is going to come from to pay for the next injured or sick animal. You are our shining stars and a godsend. Bless you all.
Life for these amazing creatures who endure so much is often hard and suffering is the order of the day, but even through all of what happens to them daily, they wag their tails when we arrive to feed. Chickens come running when they see the car, and yes we even feed the chickens as every living thing is hungry and we never walk away. Females once sterilised look different within a week of the operation and walk proudly with heads held high as they know they will never have to worry about their babies again. How blessed we are to see this every day.
If there is anyone who would like to come with on a feeding run, contact me and we will make arrangements. Be prepared for the experience of your life, you will be changed forever.
We are still looking for land to lease for our own rescue centre, so keep your ears and eyes open.
Woofs and sloppy kisses from me and all the 4 Paws.
NICKY
