Stolen car recovered in Isipingo

A team effort between the police and a local security company led to the recovery of the stolen vehicle.

TEAM effort between SAPS, PT Alarms, and metro police on March 31 led to the recovery of a car that was reported stolen in Isipingo a few weeks earlier. The vehicle was recovered in Isipingo.

PT Alarms spokesperson Dhevan Govindasamy said the information about the vehicle’s whereabouts was received early in the evening on the same day it was recovered.

“Units in the area started searching for it, and it was located inside a property on Inwabi Road,” said Govindasamy.

A foreign national male was arrested and taken into custody, and the car was entered into the Isipingo SAPS 13 register for stolen and recovered vehicles.

Govindasamy thanked all the teams involved in the recovery.
