#FindStormy: Reward offered for missing African Grey parrot in Amanzimtoti

Stormy has black feathers underneath his wings and a red tail. He went missing from Entombeni Drive last month.

THE community is urged to be on the lookout for Stormy, a red-tail African Grey parrot that went missing from Entombeni Drive, Amanzimtoti, on May 19.

Stormy’s owners, who are not sure whether their beloved parrot is male or female, but call him their boy, are aching for the safe return of their 10-year-old pet. They are offering a R300 reward.

He is described as a very friendly parrot. His owners are also not sure how far he could have gone as he is not used to flying.

Identifying markers:

  • Right wing clipped
  • Beak longer – needs to be trimmed
  • Black underneath wing feathers which is concealed
  • Red tail feathers
  • He calls himself Stormy and asks for kisses
  • Silver ring on his right leg
