Cupcake angels plan to ‘bake a difference’

Cupcakes of Hope hopes to enlist the community's help to raise much-needed funds for their cancer patients.

FEBRUARY 15 is International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day and Cupcakes of Hope need the community’s help to raise much-needed funds for their cancer patients.

The non-profit organisation financially assists around 200 patients monthly by paying for their medical bills and other day-to-day needs.

How you can help:

  • Host a fundraiser. You can register your fundraiser on their website cupcakesofhope.org
  • Bake a batch of cupcakes and ask your friends and family to make a R10 or R20 donation per cupcake. The Cupcakes of Hope fundraiser ends February 28. You can also host a mini pop-up sale at your workplace, church, neighbourhood or child’s school and help spread ‘cupcake love’ across South Africa.
  • Donate to Cupcakes of Hope and help give its little patients hope for a brighter future.
