Carboot camaraderie in Amanzimtoti [Pics]

Toti Community Assist's monthly car boot market is rapidly transforming into a staple for the Amanzimtoti community.

IN JUST one month, Toti Community Assist’s (TCA) car boot market has grown from under 15 stalls to around 30 on April 4.

The non-profit organisation thought up the market as a means to raise funds for its vital service to the community.

TCA’s Dalene Heath said the most recent edition brought with it new faces, good vibes with music and laughter filling the air, and Easter eggs handed out to stall holders. She shared lofty goals to make the car boot market bigger and better every month.

“The proceeds of stall fees goes towards TCA, and helps us assist our community with first aid supplies as well as non-perishable food items and toiletries which we distribute to families who have faced tough times,” said Heath.

She thanked the community for its support and looks forward to seeing more people visiting the market. The next edition will be on May 9 from 08:00 until 13:00 and will have private ambulance provider, Trauma 911, offering free blood pressure and sugar testing.
