Weather shines on lifesaving club
Training is in full swing so make sure you get to the beach.

WINKLE Surf Lifesaving Club had a great weekend, starting on Friday night with a nice turnout at the refreshment centre.
Keith can vouch for this especially when he saw his account the following day – rule number 23 is to never give your kids carte blanche on your refreshment account.
Rumour has it that it brought a tear to his eye.
It’s been a long time coming but the weather gods came to the party and the sea was perfect on Sunday, with whales and dolphins in abundance whenever one looked out to sea. This resulted in the biggest concentration of Winklespruit members in the water at one time, for a long time. Fun was had by all while some serious training took place.
Well done to Caden Button, Tanith Gouws, Jarrod Lawerence, Kegan Lloyd, Jenna Nel and Tonye Van Rooyen on passing their nipper exams at Scottburgh on Sunday. Sad luck to Samantha, she will get through when the next exam takes place.
All members must note that KZN South junior and senior championships take place on Saturday, 30 November and KZN South nipper champs take place on Sunday, 1 December, both at St Michael’s Beach. Training is in full swing so make sure you get to the beach.
