Training pays off for RWFL athletes
We will work with you step-by-step, assisting you to achieve this goal.

THE weather was brilliant, allowing the Run Walk For Life (RWFL) athletes time to get in some proper training without interruption of heavy rain or thunder.
The Saturday morning run was a slow one but the athletes were enjoying it tremendously. Members of other sporting bodies are welcome to join us on Saturdays as you need fitness to compete in any sport.
At Sunday’s PDAC 25km a person could see proper training really pays off. The athletes of RWFL did their best times this year and we had two novices who did the 25km road race for the first time and completing the route within the normal cut-off time. Rene Tupper (runner) and Antoinette Russouw (walker), we at RWFL are proud of you.
Should you have decided to change your lifestyle in 2014 bu losing weight, getting healthy or just getting fit, come to RWFL and let us help you, by determining a goal.
We will work with you step-by-step, assisting you to achieve this goal.
At RWFL we work together as a team, supporting each other in order for each of us to achieve our goals, whether it is to lose weight or run our first 5km, 10km or even the Comrades.

When you join RWFL, remember to wear bright coloured clothing (reflective) during our training runs to be visible to traffic, obey the rules of the road run and face oncoming traffic.
If running with a music player, put the headphones in one ear only so you can be aware of your surroundings.
Members are reminded our training days are the following: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 5pm at Amanzimtoti High School.
Saturday there will be a 1km run and walk at 5am from Amanzimtoti High School.
Sunday’s race is the Sparksport 32/16. Remember, its a 5am start, 32km, one-lap course. For more information, call Anita C on 084-254-2468 or e-mail anita.giquel@gmail.com.
