Traverse Umgeni Valley

ON Sunday, 31 January Mountain Backpackers’ Club will visit Umgeni Valley Nature Reserve near Howick for a lovely local day hike in a beautiful area.

This hike will provide great views and a chance to see plenty of game and bird life.

There are several trail variations. As it can be hot this time of year, hikers will keep to high ground. This is a combined hike with other clubs. The last booking will be taken by Wednesday, 27 January.

This 13km hike is graded two to three.
