Amanzimtoti Primary School sports teams come out tops

Amanzimtoti Primary School learners were in top form on the sports field on Saturday.

AMANZIMTOTI Primary School held their first mini-cricket games of the year for its junior classes on March 2 at Hutchison Park. Learners had a wonderful time playing in sunny weather conditions.

Players of the Match for each grade were:
Grade 1A – Carter Hewitt
Grade 1B – Hleloluhle Shabalala
Grade 2A – Corban Climpson
Grade 2B – Ava Taylor
Grade 3A – Connor Gladman
Grade 3B – Samuel Davis
Grade 3 Girls – Keziah Ramanjalum.

On February 29, the school had a very successful afternoon at the Gelofte Night Series at Gelofte Skool in Pinetown. The Toti Primary netball team had an 8–4 win, and Simnikiwe Dhlomo was named Player of the Match. The Toti hockey team had a 2–0 win, and Hayley Verreyne was named Player of the Match.

The rugby squad had a crushing 31–0 win, and Tyler Jarratt was named player of the match.
