Kingsway High introduces rugby coaches

Kingsway High School introduces its two experienced rugby coaches, who have taken up the task of cultivating the next generation of talent.

KINGSWAY High School is leveling up their game on the pitch with its two passionate rugby coaches, Ferdi Oosthuizen and Tendai Dhliwayo.

Oosthuizen’s wealth of experience as a rugby coach is backed up by a strong background in sport and coaching science. He boasts a Diploma in Sport and Coaching Science.

He currently serves as the head coach of the UKZN women’s varsity cup team, bringing his expertise to the forefront of women’s rugby. Prior to that, he coached the UKZN U20 men’s team and the Sharks School Wildebeest team.

Dhliwayo began his rugby journey in primary school and progressed to play in the KZN Premier Division. His love for the game extends beyond playing, however, and he has developed a keen interest in the laws of rugby, leading him to become an active member of the KZN Referees Society. He currently serves as the coach for the U16 team, where he shares his knowledge, experience and love for the game with the next generation of rugby talent.
