Community urged to help find missing man from The Bluff

The Bluff community is encouraged to report any findings about 59-year-old Douglas Hope, who was last seen on January 26.

THE Brighton Beach Victim Friendly Centre is calling on the community to join in searching for 59-year-old Douglas Hope from The Bluff, who was last seen on Monday (January 26).

Hope was last spotted around 19:00 leaving Hillside Mall and making his way to Dechmont Avenue and Marathon Road. Family and friends of Hope have tried numerous times to contact him, to no avail.

A missing person case has been opened, case number 280/01/2026. The community is urged to report any information that might lead to finding Hope.
