Chef Fatima Stanley, principal of the academy, recognised the 11 students who finished the culinary programme. She told them how impressed she was with their hard work.

Stanley said three students earned their second-year QCTO/Highfield International Pastry Diploma and eight finished their first-year QCTO/Highfield International Food Preparation and Culinary Arts Diploma. These programmes give students the skills to succeed in kitchens everywhere.

“All 11 graduates are going to complete their 12 months of work integrated learning at Sea Island, Atlanta and Colorado Springs in the United States of America,” she said.

Chef Stanley added that this will give them real experience in the culinary field.

“We wish our students safe travels and happy learning,” said Stanley.  She shared an inspirational verse from Mark 11:24, encouraging the graduates to believe in their goals.
