Brighton Beach swimmers compete in provincial swim tournament

The trio of Daniel de Villiers, Ryder Naidoo and Aziah Hutchinson from Brighton Beach Primary waved their flag high at the swimming champs.

BRIGHTON Beach Senior Primary School’s swimmers made quite the splash at the KZN Provincial Swim Trials on February 21 and 22. The trio of Daniel de Villiers, Ryder Naidoo, and Aziah Hutchinson showcased their skills to the best of their abilities.

The three learners represented their school after competing in the Umlazi District Swim Championships recently and earned their spots on the KZN Provincial Swim Trials.

Dr. Shalina Naicker, the school principal, expressed how pleased the school is with their swimmers.

“Well done to our three swimming stars. A special thanks to the parents, PE Coach Rithik Samlall and our amazing swim coach Helen Watson for supporting our star swimmers and encouraging them to always strive for better,” said Dr. Naicker.

The success of these young athletes emphasises how crucial teamwork, good coaching and support from those around you can lead to success.
