Coach’s comment

Robyn Wyngaard, the sports co-ordinator at Grosvenor Girls High School, expressed how proud she was of her swimmers and how they had improved in only a short time.

She added that they are already looking for ways to improve by implementing swimming as part of the PE syllabus, hoping to attract more swimmers.

“We are only up and running for two months now and in those two months we have won one swimming gala which is something to be proud of with the fast-moving improvements. As a coach it tells me how determined these young girls are to get where they want to be and with two more galas until the end, we look forward to it and we will be working twice as hard,” said Wyngaard.
