According to a source in the Banyana camp, the Banyana coach has always had her favourite players in the team and she doesn’t even care how other players are doing.

“She is saying everything right on TV and interviews, but what people don’t know is that she is not a good coach. She has her favourite players and people tend to ask why there are divisions in the squad,” said the source.

Meanwhile, as reported earlier, Ellis has talked to Olympic champion Caster Semenya about the possibility of playing for the South African women’s team.

Semenya is set to kickstart her football career in 2020 after signing for Sasol League side JVW Girls football club in September.

Ellis said she always invited Semenya to Banyana camps to motivate her players as they all looked up to the athlete for her achievements.
