Following ugly scenes at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday night, Kaizer Chiefs announced that Steve Komphela had resigned from his position as head coach, however, it later emerged that the club decided to axe the former Bafana Bafana defender to curb fan violence.

Sundowns were tipped as the side that could feature in the final of the Nedbank Cup, however Fadlu Davids and his boys had other ideas. The Team of Choice will look to end their good season on a high by winning the competition.

Stadium security assaulted by fans

A video of fans invading the Moses Mabhida went viral after the game. Some of the cameras that were not destroyed by fans captured disturbing scenes that saw a security guard kicked and hit with chairs on the field.
