AmaZulu ban a fan for inciting violence on coach

AmaZulu Media Officer Brilliant Mkhathini says the fan that tried to rally supporters to march against coach Cavin Johnson has been banned from attending Usuthu games.

Following reports that disgruntled supporters will attend Usuthu training sessions in an attempt to drive Johnson out of the team, AmaZulu identified the fan that was organising the proposed training attendance and was subsequently banned from attending matches.

“We spoke to the fan and the club’s resolution was we won’t have people that incite violence coming to the game, he was identified and he won’t be welcomed to our games anymore,” Mkhathini told Phakaaathi.

”You know when fans talk, it might incite violence and we felt we don’t need people like that coming into the stadium because they are troublesome and will turn the attention away from the game, this is all according to our general manager Lunga Sokhela,” added Mkhathini.
