AmaZulu captain takes responsibility for Baroka loss

AmaZulu FC skipper Thapelo Nyongo has taken the blame for the club’s 2-0 loss over Baroka FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium last weekend.

The loss saw Usuthu go down to 14th place in the league standings with 15 points after 15 games.

“We let ourselves down, especially management, our supporters and the coach. I myself, as the captain, take full responsibility,” said Nyongo.

The 22-year old defender is suspended for the team’s next game against SuperSport United at the King Zwelithi Stadium but has assured everyone associated with the club that the players will bounce back from their poor showing against Baroka.

“I can assure all the AmaZulu family that we will sort this out as players.”
