Celtic deny Ajax sale rumours

Bloemfontein Celtic have rubbished reports that they are selling the club's Premiership status to National First Division side Ajax Cape Town.

Reports suggested that a deal has been reached between Ajax and Celtic for the Siwelele status. However, Celtic have come out to dismiss these claims.

“Bloemfontein Celtic is NOT in negotiations with Ajax Cape Town and the club has NOT been sold as widely reported and insinuated on social media and other digital platforms,” read a tweet from Celtic.

Siwelele have been up for sale since the owner Max Tshabalala ran into financial trouble and it remains to be seen if the club will not be sold prior to the beginning of next season.
