Chiefs legend disappointed by Masilela’s axing
Kaizer Chiefs legend Vusi ‘Computer’ Lamola says Amakhosi could later regret releasing defender Tsepo Masilela.

Masilela was one of the five players released by Chiefs on Thursday after the club decided against renewing his contract.
“Frankly speaking, I do not think it is a wise decision by the management of club,” Lamola told Goal.
“I am of the view that a player like Masilela still had something to contribute to the team. His experience was still valuable to the club,” he continued.
“Such players understand the culture of the club and they help lay the foundation for success as you look to build a team that can challenge for trophies and win them again,” he explained.
“I am only concerned by the decision to release Masilela. Having said that, the decision to offload him can either prove to be good one or it might backfire,” he said.
“Only time will tell. I really hope that it does not come back to haunt the team,” he concluded.
