City keen on Chiefs and Sundowns stars – report

Comitis is said to be willing to dig deep into his pockets to land Siphiwe Tshabalala and Percy Tau.

Cape Town City owner John Comitis has revealed the names of two players he is looking at to add to his team’s arsenal for next season.

City have done well since Comitis founded them at the beginning of the season by buying the status of Mpumalanga Black Aces and Eric Tinkler’s team have already won the Telkom Knockout and are contenders in the Absa Premiership race.

Comitis was quoted in Isolezwe last week saying he is willing to dig deep into his pockets to land Kaizer Chiefs veteran Siphiwe Tshabalala and Mamelosi Sundowns’ sensational winger Percy Tau.

“I want to grow my team. I need Tau and Tshabalala to do that, and even if I have to break the bank, I have no problem with that. I will start negotiating with their teams at the end of the season,” Comitis was quoted as saying.
