Cole Alexander completes Wits switch
Midfielder Cole Alexander has joined Bidvest Wits thereby ending speculation about his next move.
The former SuperSport United midfielder was linked with Wits, Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic and Platinum Stars after partying ways with Matsatsantsa last month.
The Clever Boys have won the race for the player’s services with Alexander putting pen to paper today (Monday).
Alexander’s agent Gary Cassisa of Mede8Sports confirmed to Phakaaathi that the player has signed for Wits.
“Yes he has completed his move to Wits. The deal was only concluded today (Monday) so I am not sure they will make the announcement today. Because there were a couple of teams that were interested,” said Cassisa.
Wits are expected to make an official announcement about Alezander’s signing today (Monday).
