The likes of Robert Ng’ambi of Malawi, Zambia’s Brian Mwila and Thabang Sesinyi of Botswana will be doing duty for their national teams for the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies.

Mwila and his Chipolopolo teammates face Cameroon on November 11, while Malawi and Botswana take on Gabon and Lesotho respectively on November 14.

“At this period we do a lot of individual work. We try to focus on weaknesses of players and try to make them better players. It’s difficult to work as a team because some key players are not here. We still do a bit of teamwork. It’s individual work. The guys with niggling injuries, we are trying to slow them down, get them rest and get them ready for the next game,” said De Sa.

“It’s always good that the guys get called up for national duty and represent their country. We are just going to monitor them and watch how much they play and check their fatigue when they come back.”
