Gamal opens up about Wits exit

Egyptian striker Amr Gamal has revealed why he left Bidvest Wits before his loan deal expired.

Gamal told media in Finland that he fell out with Clever Boys coach Gavin Hunt.

He added that Hunt was not pleased the striker giving input on how the team should play.

“I left Wits because the manager (Gavin Hunt) did not take kind to any player that says no to him and disagrees with him on match day tactics,” Gamal told the media.

Gamal completed his move to Finnish side HJk Helsinki a day after Wits officially terminated his contract.

The striker moved to Helsinki after Al Ahly agreed to a loan deal with the Finnish side.

Gamal hopes to be in the Egyptian squad that will travel to Russia for the upcoming World Cup.
