Clinton Larsen confirms that he is longer a Chippa United coach.
The Chilli Boys lost two and drew three of their games in the new season, leaving them in position 13 on the league table.
The latest loss came from Pirates on Saturday afternoon at the Orlando Stadium.
The former Golden Arrows coach was informed on Monday morning that the club would no longer need his services.
“Yes, it is true,” Larsen told Phakaaathi.
When asked if losing to coach Rulani Mokwena’s Pirates had anything to do with the club’s decision, a repose Larsen said: “I don’t think its Pirates. It’s just results. Any coach’s stay depends on results really.
“It was all the results collectively in my opinion (that led to his sacking).”
