Leopards coach slams goalkeeper for ‘f**k-off’ comment

Black Leopards coach Dylan Kerr slated goalkeeper King Ndlovu for insulting him during the side’s loss to Maritzburg United this past weekend.

The incident started when Ndlovu sprinted from his goal line to stop midfielder Lefa Hlongwane from taking a free kick because he wanted to take it.

When striker Mwape Musonda stopped Ndlovu from shoving Hlongwane, the two had to be separated by teammates. Eventually, Ndlovu got his wish to take the free kick and shot wide.

The goalkeeper went onto tell coach Kerr to f**k-off when he tried to intervene.

“Look I don’t mind the anger and that craziness in football but you can’t tell the coach to f**k-off, you can’t. No, you don’t do that. We can have disagreements and arguments but you can’t tell your boss to f**k-off and that’s why I think Jean (Munganga) reacted. It was wrong, I am sorry but it was wrong,” Kerr reacted.

“That’s happens in a Sunday football league and not in a Premier Soccer League match. Whether I am right or wrong, I am the boss, I am the coach. I think Mwape Musonda was the one who was most frustrated about it. Marks (Munyai) would have put that in a top corner, who knows? But you will never know now,” said Kerr.
