Leopards snap up Guinea-Bissau goalkeeper

Black Leopards have announced the signing of Guinea-Bissau goalkeeper Jonas Asvendo Mendes.


Mendes joined Leopards after representing his country at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

“Black Leopards FC welcome Jonas Asvendo Mendes. He comes with a lot of experience from Portugal and Guinea-Bissau. The board and management trust that his arrival at Black Leopards will strengthen the defence of the team,” read a statement from Leopards.

Leopards have signed the likes of Thabo Matlana, Thuso Phala and Mogakolodi Ngele during the current transfer period as they look to compete for silverware next season.
