Malesela apologises to referee Qongqo
The coach changed his mind after seeing video footage of Rhulani Manzini's behaviour.

Chippa United coach Dan Malesela has apologised to referee Kulasande Qongqo after questioning his decision to send off striker Rhulani Manzini during the 2-0 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic.
Manzini was given his marching orders by Qongqo in the 26th minute after head-butting midfielder Alfred Ndengane at Dr Molemela Stadium on Sunday.
During the post-match interviews with SABC and SuperSport TV, Malesela questioned Qongqo’s decision to send off Manzini, saying the striker’s actions during the altercation with Ndengane did not warranty a red card.
But after seeing video footage of the incident, Malesela has apologised to Qongqo.
“I would like to apologise for my comments with regard to the send-off,” Malesela told his club’s website.
“I questioned the official’s judgment before I could see the footage.
“I have had an opportunity to review the footage of the game, and it is clear that the officials were spot-on regarding the decision to send off the player.
“I regret the comments made to the media after the game, and on behalf of Chippa United Football Club, I send my unreserved apology to the match officials, football followers and the Premier Soccer League.”
Malesela added the club did not condone Manzini’s unsporting behaviour and that they would deal with him internally.
“We will deal with the matter internally and professionally.
“As the football club, as part of our values, we do not tolerate unsporting behaviour on the pitch.
“We are quite aware of our standing and role in the society, and we will give the matter the attention it deserves.”
