Maritzburg release Baroka-bound defender
Maritzburg United have confirmed the departure of defender Denwin Farmer by mutual agreement.

The defender is set to join Limpopo-based outfit Baroka FC in the new season.
“The club has released defender Denwin Farmer by mutual agreement,” read a statement from Maritzburg. “Denwin departs for Baroka FC. We would like to wish him all the best.”
The 22-year-old was troubled by a shoulder injury last season and struggled to keep his place in the Team of Choice’s starting line-up.
According to reports, Farmer is looking for regular game time and believes Baroka are the perfect side for him to play regularly.
